Pneumatic Actuators

time2013/01/02

Pneumatic actuators, by means of the force of air and springs, open and close valves through transforming air pressure into rotary or linear motion. Commonly, pneumatic actuator is powered by air. When a valve spring is fully open, it is without air; when air pressure is increased and overcomes the resistance of the valve, it forces the spring to close. Sometimes, the actuator controls a valve by converting the motion a substance through a stem of machinery.
